Will my order be subject to sales tax?
Gnu Foods is not required to charge sales tax on any orders as health bars and dietary supplements are sales tax exempt.
How are orders shipped?
Orders are shipped via UPS Ground®.
What are your shipping charges?
Our shipping charges are as follows:

There are no shipping charges for Gift Certificates purchases. The value of a Gift Certificate in your shopping cart is not included in your order total when we calculate your shipping charge.
How long will it take for my shipment to arrive via UPS Ground?
The following chart lists standard UPS Ground® transit times from our shipping facility. These are not guaranteed transit times. The "days" refers to business days, not weekends or holidays:

Where is my order?
You will be able to track your Gnu Foods orders once they have been shipped.
When your order ships, you will receive a shipment confirmation e-mail. The subject line of that e-mail will be: "Your Order (# XYZ) has been shipped." This e-mail will include a UPS® tracking number as well as a link to the UPS® website for real time tracking information.
Simply click on the link in your shipment confirmation e-mail and you will see the status of your order.
Generally, UPS® shipments arrive within 3-6 days from the day they were shipped.
I received an incorrect item in my order; what should I do?
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that this has caused.
Please go to the Talk to Us section of our website and send us a message. A Customer Specialist will respond to your message as quickly as possible to make arrangements for a refund or replacement order. Please include your order number and the product you received in error in your e-mail message.
My order was damaged in transit; what should I do?
We are sorry to hear that your order was damaged. We will be happy to replace the damaged items. To have this issue resolved as quickly as possible, we ask that you go to the Talk to Us section and send us a message. In your e-mail, please provide your order number and what was damaged. Our Customer Specialist will get back to you in a timely manner via e-mail and may request that you return the damaged items to us or that you dispose of the items. We will pay for the return postage if it is necessary for you to send the item(s) back to Gnu Foods. Please do not throw your damaged items away until you have been contacted by a Customer Specialist.
What is Gnu Foods’ return policy?
Your total satisfaction is important to us here at Gnu Foods. You may return any item shipped by Gnu Foods for a full credit or refund, less shipping charges. Please keep the following in mind:
- Items have not been opened and are in their original packaging
- You should return the item to us within 30 days of receipt.
Once your return has been received, a credit or refund will be issued within 15 days; please note that it may take one or two cycles to show up on your credit card statement.

Can my shipping and billing addresses be different?
Yes. When placing your first order, you will be asked for your payment information (including billing address) separately from your shipping information.
You may update either your shipping or billing address at any time by clicking on the your account link on the Shop page of our website and follow the instructions for updating your address information.
How do I change my e-mail address?
Click the your account section on the Shop page of our website and follow the instructions for changing and updating your e-mail address.
What methods of payment does Gnu Foods accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. If you prefer to pay by personal check, please call us toll-free at 1-877-703-1085.
Is the credit card information I submit secure?
Absolutely. Every step of the Gnu Foods' online ordering process that requests credit card information employs Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. SSL makes your information unreadable should anyone attemp to intercept it.
Will Gnu Foods send me a confirmation e-mail after I place my order?
Shortly after placing your order, we will follow up with a confirmation e-mail to you. We will also e-mail you once your order has shipped.

It's simple. With this program, you can have either 15 or 30 Gnu Bars a month delivered right to your door. Your shipment will arrive about every 4 weeks.
It not only saves you a trip to the store, but you can save up to 35% on the cost of the individual bars.
And you'll always have a Gnu Bar on hand to eat your way to good health.

Can I purchase a gift of Gnu Bars to be shipped to a different address other than my own?
Yes. If you are purchasing a gift, you will be asked for your payment information (including billing address) separately from your shipping information. Enter the address of your gift recipient under "shipping address". Make sure to check the "This is a Gift" box when you are reviewing your order. The gift will be shipped without any pricing information and with a personal gift message from you.

What is the Joy of Fiber Program and how does it work?

What is the Joy of Fiber Center?
If you are a Joy of Fiber Program member, you can now manage your account online. Please visit our Joy of Fiber Center, an online resource at www.GnuFoods.com where you will be able to change your monthly order amounts, flavors and other account information at your convenience.
How do I change my monthly quantity of Gnu Bars?
The Joy of Fiber Program comes in two “sizes” – a Joy of Fiber 15 and a Joy of Fiber 30, which gives you either 15 or 30 Gnu Bars per month. You can upgrade or downgrade to another program at the Joy of Fiber Center.
If you want more bars than 30 a month, feel free to create your own combination of the program, like a Joy of Fiber “45” or “90”. Current members can do that through the Joy of Fiber Center. New Customers can do so by adding multiple Joy of Fiber Programs to their shopping cart.
How do I change my flavor mix?
Please visit the Joy of Fiber Center to change your flavor assortment. We need at least 2 business days notice to change your flavor assortment. Also, please remember to pick flavors in increments of 5, as Joy of Fiber members receive 5-Packs.
How do I change my shipping and/or billing address?
Please visit the Joy of Fiber Center to change any of your account information.
How do I change/update the credit card I use to make my Joy of Fiber purchases?

Help! I’ve run out of bars and want my next order now. Is that possible?
Visit the Joy of Fiber Center and specify your next shipment date.
We can accommodate any request that is at least 2 business days away.
Can I get more than 30 bars a month?
Yes you can. You can get 45, 60, 75 or even 90 bars per month as long as the quantity is in increments of 15. If you are a current Joy of Fiber customer, you can upgrade through the Joy of Fiber Center.
For new Joy of Fiber customers, simply put a Joy of Fiber 30 and a Joy of Fiber 15 in your shopping cart if you want 45 per month. Or, for 60 bars per month, put 2 Joy of Fiber 30’s in your shopping cart, selecting the flavor combination you want.
How much does it cost to get more than 30 bars a month?
Each Gnu Bar that you receive as part of the Joy of Fiber Program is priced at a 35% savings over the regular bar price. For example, the price of a Joy of Fiber "45" is $58.41, plus a flat $6.95 Shipping & Handling charge. The price for a Joy of Fiber 60 equals the cost of 2 Joy of Fiber 30 orders, which is $38.94 x 2, or $77.88 per month, plus a flat $6.95 Shipping & Handling charge.
I'm on the Joy of Fiber monthly program and I’d like to get 15 or 30 extra bars for this month only. Is that possible?
Yes. Please visit the Joy of Fiber Center if you would like to make a one-time change to your Joy of Fiber order. If you would like to go back to your regular bar quantity after the one-time increase, please return to the Joy of Fiber Center to make the change back to your regular monthly quantity.
Can I skip my next order?
Yes, you can skip your order for up to 2 months. Please go to the Joy of Fiber Center and click on the “Select Your Next Shipment” date section. If you would like to skip more than 2 months, we suggest you cancel your standing Joy of Fiber order and re-subscribe to the program at your convenience.
I don’t remember signing up for automatic monthly shipments of Gnu Bars. How do I cancel?
It is not our intention to send unwanted product to our customers.
We are sorry if you were unclear about the Joy of Fiber program when you enrolled. Please go to the Joy of Fiber Center to cancel your monthly shipments.
How do I cancel?
Visit the Joy of Fiber Center to cancel your Joy of Fiber Program. Please allow 2 business days for your cancellation to become effective.
If your current month’s order has been shipped, your cancellation will take effect with next month’s order. If your current month’s shipment is not scheduled to go out within the next two days, your cancellation will be effective with your current shipment.
